India's Navjot Channa lost his pre-quarterfinal men's 60kg judo event in the 17th Asian Games, going down to Boldbaatar Ganbat of Mongolia at the Dowon Gymnasium on Saturday. (Day 1 Live Blog | Schedule | Medal Tally)

The Mongolian gave little chance to the 30-year-old Channa winning by an Ippon, which is awarded for a technique which involves kicking the head of an opponent or throwing down the opponent, to defeat the Indian. (Asian Games: Jitu Rai wins gold)
