Sunita Rani wins bronze in 5,000 metres
India's Sunita Rani wins the bronze medal in the women's 5,000 metres at the Asian Games.

India's Sunita Rani won the bronze medal in the women's 5,000 metres at the Asian Games here today. Rani, who had won the 1,500 metres event on Thursday setting a new Games record, came behind China's Sun Yingjie who won the gold and Japan's Kayoko Fukushi. The Indian girl clocked 15 minutes 18.77 seconds, while Yingjie recorded 14 minutes 40.42 seconds, a new Games record. (PTI)Topics mentioned in this article
