Manjit Kaur claims gold at Asian Athletics
India won its second gold medal, along with the silver, in the women's 400m at the 16th Asian Athletics Championship today.

India won its second gold medal, along with the silver, in the women's 400m at the 16th Asian Athletics Championship today. Manjit Kaur claimed the gold in the one-lap race with a time of 51.50 seconds and her compatriot Sati Geetha followed her by clocking 51.75 seconds. Japan's Asami Tanno finished third in 52.91 seconds. Soma Biswas had won the first gold for the country in the heptathlon event on Friday.
