New Delhi: India ace shuttler Parupalli Kashyap pulled out of the season-opening USD 600,000 Korea Open Super Series next year due to a shoulder injury sustained last week.
The world number 14 Indian said he withdrew his entry from Korea Open (January 7-12) as he needed time to completely heal and compete at the highest level again.
"I partially dislocated my shoulder while playing last week. My physio is with me and he is strapping it tightly. It has not healed yet. May be, in another week it should be fine. But I withdrew from Korea today," Kashyap told PTI.
