Gurgaon: Olympic bronze medal winning boxer M.C. Mary Kom on Tuesday said she badly missed being a part a Glasgow Commonwealth Games but she is ready to for the Asian Games that would be held in the South Korean city of Incheon September 19-October 4.
Mary Kom was present here to mark the new beginning of Artemis hospital's campaign for cancer and cardiac problems in women. The initiative aims to spread awareness regarding these diseases all across the country including the unexplored North-East.
"I was sad that I could not take part in the recent Glasgow Commonwealth Games. But I am ready for the Asian Games. The preparations are on and I will give my best," said Mary Kom.
