Kingston, Jamaica: Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who did not keep wickets against the West Indies during the team's tri-nation series opener in Jamaica on Sunday after sustaining a hamstring injury while batting, is to be examined by the doctors before deciding future course of action.
"Dhoni is not feeling good. He is going to be examined. He has a hamstring issue," a source in the BCCI said here.
Dhoni handed over the wicket keeping duties to teammate Dinesh Karthik in their opening match last night, which was won by the West Indies by one wicket at Sabina Park, Kingston.
