On the 26th of August, 2012, Unmukt Chand blasted a spectacular century to help lead India to its 3rd Under-19 World Cup triumph. One year later, Chand spoke to NDTV, reminiscing about how that one moment changed his life. Unmukt said, "It was one of the best moments of my life. We had worked really hard for the tournament."
Chand who has just returned home after winning another tournament, the Under-23 Asian Cricket Council Emerging Teams Cup in Singapore said, "winning this tournament by beating Pakistan in the final was special."
However, Chand's highest score in the tournament was just 60 and the 20-year-old felt he did not convert the good starts he got into big scores.
