Bangalore:The Indian cricket team got down to business on Thursday after an almost two-month-long break. The team got together for a four-day conditioning camp in Bangalore.
The ODI team has been boosted by the return of Rahul Dravid to the shorter version of the game. Sachin Tendulkar too is coming back into the one-day team.
The players are being made to go through paces at the NCA under the watchful eyes of newly appointed trainer Ramji Srinivasan. Coach Gary Kirsten will oversee the camp.
Most of the players will participate in BCCI's Corporate Trophy before the team heads out to Sri Lanka on September 7 for the Compaq Cup.
Meanwhile, Virender Sehwag told the media that while he was getting fitter each passing day, he was still sometime away from full fitness.
India will begin the 2009-2010 season with a tri-series in Sri Lanka followed by the ICC Champions Trophy in South Africa.
