Here are the statistical highlights of the fourth day's play between India and Bangladesh in the second Test in Mirpur.

  • For the first time, India have posted five series wins in a row - one each against Australia, England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

  • India's ten-wicket triumph is their sixth in seven Tests against Bangladesh.

  • For the second time, India have won four consecutive Tests - by an innings and 144 runs at Kanpur, by an innings and 24 runs at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai - both against Sri Lanka in 2009-10 and by 113 runs at Chittagong and by 10 wickets at Mirpur - both against Bangladesh in January 2010.

  • India have won eight out of eleven Tests played under the captaincy of Dhoni while the remaining three were drawn..

  • India have recorded victories in five consecutive series for the first time - 2-0 vs. Australia in 2008-09; 1-0 vs. England in 2008-09; 1-0 vs. New Zealand in 2008-09; 2-0 vs. Sri Lanka in 2009-10 and 2-0 vs. Bangladesh in 2009-10.

  • Thanks to the career-best figures (7/87)in an innings and (10/149) in a Test match by Zaheer Khan, India won the Test by ten wickets.

  • Zaheer has bagged five wickets or more in an innings nine times (twice against Bangladesh) and ten wickets in a Test match once.

  • Zaheer has captured five wickets or more in an innings seven times away from home. He has received the Man of the Match award for the fourth time in Tests - his second against Bangladesh.

  • Zaheer (10/149) became the fourth Indian fast bowler to claim ten wickets in an overseas Test match, joining Irfan Pathan, Chetan Sharma and Venkatesh Prasad. Irfan is the only one to have recorded the feat twice.

  • Zaheer, with 31 wickets at 24.25 runs apiece in seven Tests, is the leading wicket-taker in India-Bangladesh Tests.

  • Shahadat Hossain (40) has recorded his career-best score in Tests,

  • With Shahadat's wicket, Harbhajan is the third Indian bowler to bag 600 international wickets, joining Anil Kumble (956) and Kapil Dev (687).

  • Zaheer got his third Player of the series award - his first two were against England in 2007 and 2008-09.

  • Dhoni, with eight dismissals (6 catches + 2 stumpings) in the Mirpur Test, has equalled his previous best performance as wicketkeeper in a Test match. In the Perth Test against Australia in January 2008, he had effected eight dismissals (7 catches + 1 stumping).
