Kolkata:Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Sourav Ganguly is uncertain for the next game against Bangalore Royal Challengers that is to be played on Saturday.
Ganguly, who played a vital role in team's 14-run victory on Wednesday, injured his ankle during the game against the Delhi Dardevils.
He went for an MRI scan, report of which is still awaited. While he is still in pain, the team has left for Bangalore.
In Wednesday's win, Ganguly had given his side a brisk start and scored 56 runs off 46 balls in his team's total of 181/3. While defending too, Ganguly was in the thick of things, taking two catches, executing a brilliant run out and ringing in bowling changes which clicked just when the team required them.
His performance also attracted praise from his Delhi counterpart Gautam Gambhir, who said, "It's not about age but about class. Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble and Sourav Ganguly are class players who can adapt to various situations. An ability of a player is judged by how quickly he can adapt to any form of the game".
