Kolkata:Kolkata Knight Riders owner Shah Rukh Khan on Sunday hoped his team, virtually out of contention for semi-final berth, will keep the winning momentum on when they take on table-toppers Mumbai Indians at the Eden Gardens here on Monday.
"Have no idea on run rates etc but hope we can give KKR followers something to cheer about tomorrow," Shah Rukh wrote on his Twitter page.
"Last match at home... we will miss it all," he said. Chennai Super Kings on Sunday entered the semi-finals after captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni's sensational late blitzkrieg propelled the side to a six-wicket win over Kings XI Punjab at Dharamsala.
KKR have 12 points from 13 matches with a net run-rate of -0.456.
Disheartened with KKR's continuing poor run in the IPL, Shah Rukh had earlier said that he took the blame for the debacle and feels awful for the side and its fans.
He, however, later clarified that his statement did not mean he was planning to leave the outfit.
