Scotland Yard passes on evidence to prosecutors

Scotland Yard handed evidence on the spot-fixing scandal to Crown Prosecution Service and now they will decide whether to charge the Pak trio or not.

Scotland Yard on Friday handed evidence on the 'spot-fixing' scandal to Crown Prosecution Service and left it to the prosecutors whether to frame charges on Pakistani cricketers alleged to have been involved in it.

Scotland Yard said evidence that there was a conspiracy to defraud bookmakers will now be considered by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).
