Mumbai: Kieron Pollard has yet to get a chance to explode in the fourth season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Mumbai Indians' clinical performance in their first two games meant that the service of the big-hitting West Indian was not needed.
He has contributed with the ball 0-18 against Delhi Daredevils and 2-25 against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
The way Pollard batted in the nets on the eve of Friday's match, the Mumbai crowd can expect a royal treat from the Mumbai Indians dasher as the team braces up for its first home game of the season against Kochi Tuskers Kerala at the Wankhede Stadium. Pollard, who batted in the nets for nearly two hours, hit high into the stands and also managed to despatch a few out of the ground with ease.
