Karachi: Pakistan's former captain Younus Khan has broken his silence after returning from the World Cup and vowed to continue to his cricket career despite being sidelined for the one-day series in the West Indies.
Younus made it clear he was not upset or frustrated at being dropped for the one-day series after the World Cup. "No, I am neither angry nor upset. This is part of a professional cricketer's life. It is now up to the new players picked for the series to perform and prove they can replace the seniors," he said.
"A professional cricketer should just perform and that should be his statement for everyone including the media. It is not the job of a player to say much in the media," he added.
