Kolkata: The Cricket Association of Bengal on Saturday expressed its appreciation of BCCI's decision to allot it three matches during the home series against England and the West Indies later this year after it was deprived of the hosting rights of the India-England World Cup tie in March.
"Of course this is a good move (by BCCI). Last time we were deprived of our due match against England. It was an injustice done to the CAB," said CAB chief and former BCCI and ICC president Jagmohan Dalmiya here on Saturday.
The BCCI's Tours Programmes and Fixtures Committee met today and alloted the lone T20 International against England to the CAB to be held at Kolkata's Eden Gardens.
