New Delhi: Will India play Pakistan in a bilateral series sometime soon? Well, it could take a while. Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Ijaz Butt has made it clear that Pakistan will visit India only if India play in a series hosted by Pakistan, even if at a neutral venue.
The PCB chief said that even though he is keen to see cricketing ties renewed between the two countries, this condition would have to be met for that to happen.
The PCB has suggested neutral venues, such as Malaysia, Sri Lanka or UAE to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for a bilateral series next year but the India board is yet to respond.
