Supreme Court rejects Modi's plea
In a set back to Lalit modi, the Supreme Court on Monday, rejected his plea for reconstituting the BCCI disciplinary committee probing allegations of financial irregularities against him.

In a set back to Lalit modi, the Supreme Court on Monday, rejected his plea for reconstituting the BCCI disciplinary committee probing allegations of financial irregularities against him.
The former chairman of the Indian Premier League had sought the reconstitution of a BCCI-appointed three-member disciplinary committee comprising Arun Jaitley, Chirayu Amin and Jyotiraditya Scindia. The committee has been entrusted with the task to probe the allegations of financial irregularities against him.
Modi had earlier approached the Bombay High Court in July 2010 and had said that Jaitley and Amin would be biased against him.
