Melbourne: Australia's Test and ODI captain Michael Clarke is "very confident" that none of his teammates are involved in match-fixing and says he is surprised by the allegations made against them by a London-based bookie.
Australians were dragged into the controversy by bookie Mazhar Majeed during the ongoing spot-fixing trial in London. But the players from down under were eventually given a clean chit by an ICC investigator.
"For me personally, it's not the Australian way. Never in my time have I experienced a conversation with anybody about any such thing," Clarke was quoted as saying by newspapers here.
