Mumbai: Arjun Tendulkar on Tuesday emulated his father Sachin Tendulkar by giving a match-winning performance for his school Dhirubhai Ambani School in a Harris Shield match at Mumbai.
Arjun wrecked havoc in the opponents camp, taking eight wickets for just 22 runs. The Jamnabai Narsee School team was bundled out for just 105 runs in 25 overs.
Sachin had also grabbed headlines with a splendid show in the Harris Shield around 23 years ago. On February 23rd, 1988, Sachin, playing for his school - Shardashram Vidyamandir, had teamed up with his buddy Vinod kambli to put up a stand of 664 runs. When the innings was declared, Tendulkar was on 326 and Kambli was on 349.
