London: England off-spinner Graeme Swann feels that one-day cricket needs be scrapped to ease the already-packed international calendar and instead emphasis should be on Test and Twenty20 versions of the game.
"I think one-day cricket will have to give at some point, hopefully for everyone. I don't think that game should carry on for much longer. For me it's not as enjoyable to play in. I think Test cricket and Twenty20 are the way forward for cricket," the 32-year-old Swann said.
Swann does not expect many supporters for his controversial idea and said he has no imminent plans to quit ODIs.
