Jhajjar (Haryana): Virender Sehwag's academy ground in Jhajjar has been an instant hit with Delhi Daredevils cricketers and with a bit of upgradation it may even host Ranji Trophy matches in the near future.
"The ground is ready and so are the practice pitches and the swimming pool. By the end of this year, the indoor facility will also be ready. I will have to get the sightscreens and scoreboard ready. If the Haryana Cricket Association feels that they would like to apply to the BCCI for organising first-class or U-19 matches, it would be great," said ehwag, who performed the dual role of a cricketer as well as host-cum entrepreneur on the day.
Sehwag's younger brother Vinod, who looks after the day to day activity of the Sehwag International School (SIS), said that with the passage of time they would be able to provide state-of-the-art facility which will be as good as anywhere in the country.
