Pune: Siddhesh Lad warmed up for Toyota University Cricket Championship with an unbeaten 91-ball 115, while pacer Kshemal Waingankar shone with a five-wicket haul as Mumbai thrashed Saurashtra by 126 runs in their Vijay Hazare Trophy (West Zone) match in Pune on Sunday.

Sent in to bat, Mumbai rode on Lad's pyrotechnics and Shoaib Shaikh's 72 to post a challenging 283 for seven in their alloted 50 overs before bundling out Saurashtra for a paltry 157 in 41.5 overs at Poona Club Ground.

Saurashtra kept on losing wickets at regular intervals as barring Chirag Jani's 79-ball 61, none other batsmen could hang around for long.
