Mumbai: Mumbai University (Western Wolves) take on Madras University (Southern Sharks) in a Group B encounter at the Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai. For the 'home' team, this will be their first game since the first day of the tournament when they lost to Jamia University by five wickets on February 23.

That Toyota University Cricket Championship contest was a close game with Pankaj Jaiswal, Shashank Singh and Sagar Gorivale shining for Mumbai. Touted as pre-tournament favourites, the Mumbai side would be disappointed by that loss but they have had more than a long enough break to forget that. The break though might hamper them too as Madras University side have been playing meanwhile.

The Chennai side have played two matches - winning one and losing one. In their first game they beat Jaypee Cement Eastern Tigers APS Rewa by 41 runs. Sivaramakrishnan Subramaniam, Kamalesh Murugesan, Rohit Ramamlingam and Ashwath Sridhar were their key players then. In their second game, Jamia proved far superior. Ganga Sridhar tried his best for Madras University with a solid 53 but the team went down by 12 runs.
