Bridgetown, Barbados: West Indies looked on course to win the first Test against Zimbabwe after an impressive second day which saw them bowled out for 307 in their first innings and then reduce the tourists to 41-3 in their second innings in Bridgetown, Barbados on Wednesday.

It leaves the Zimbabweans requiring another 55 runs to get the hosts to even bat again.

West Indies captain Darren Sammy led from the front topscoring with 73, before taking two smart catches.
