In Mohali, openers Murali Vijay scored 153 and debutant Shikhar Dhawan hit 187 to set up their side's six-wicket victory over Australia, which gave India a 3-0 lead in the four-Test series.
Compton has risen 13 places to 56th position, Trott has jumped three places to 10th place, Vijay is now at a career-best 43rd spot after moving up 16 places and Dhawan has entered the rankings in 61st position.
