Afridi is set to be sidelined because he has gone wicket-less in his last few one-day internationals, and the selectors feel he is not doing justice to his primary role as a bowler.

Karachi: Flamboyant all-rounder Shahid Afridi will not be included in the 15-member national squad for the ICC Champions Trophy, to be held in England in June, sources claimed on Friday.

Although the national selection committee is yet to announce the final 15, sources told PTI that Afridi has not been shortlisted for the final squad.
