Renowned sports journalist Dicky Rutnagur dies

Former India spinner Bishan Singh Bedi along with several Indian and British sports journalists paid rich tribute to Rutnagar on social media.

London: Dicky Rutnagur, one of the reputed sports journalists and commentator, on Friday passed away in London aged 82.

Rutnagur, who was born on February 28, 1931, covered 300 Tests in a fabulous career lasting half-a-century.

He was associated with the 'Hindustan Times' between 1958 and 1966 as a cricket correspondent and moved to London in mid-60s where he not only covered county cricket but also wrote about squash and badminton for 'Daily Telegraph'.
