The South Africa Cricket CEO says it was a smart move by the BCCI to include Cheteshwar Pujara, Suresh Raina and Rohit Sharma in the India A squad, which will help them get acclimatised to the conditions.

Johannesburg: New Cricket South Africa chief executive officer Haroon Lorgat feels the presence of India A team in South Africa for a one-day Tri-series and two-Tests auger well for the upcoming tour of the senior Indian team in November.

The Indian tour was believed to be under threat because of objections from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to Lorgat's appointment last month.

But Lorgat remained optimistic that the tour would go ahead, although he conceded that there may be some changes to the schedule which CSA had earlier announced unilaterally.
