The Australian Cricket Board will decide today on the team for the first Test vs Sri Lanka from March 8 at Galle. One player who will definitely be up for contention is Shane Warne. Warne who made his comeback to first class cricket a week back has missed the last full year of international cricket since he was thrown out of last years World Cup after failing a drug test. The first Test against Sri Lanka will also see Australia led by Ricky Ponting for the first time. Meanwhile, Glenn McGrath says he is ready to play again after overcoming a persistent ankle injury. McGrath nicknamed the Pigeon has been out of action for eight months after two operations on his left ankle that saw him miss Australia's last two home series against Zimbabwe and India.
