Centurion: South Africa named three spinners Sunday in a 15-man squad for five one-day internationals series against India, which starts on November 16. The biggest surprise was the inclusion of Johan Botha, together with the more experienced Robin Peterson and Justin Ontong - both big-hitting allrounders. Botha, 23, has played 28 first-class matches and 37 one-dayers at provincial level. But he converted from a right-arm medium-pacer into an off-spinner just a year ago. The squad also included the 12 Proteas who played in Sunday's fifth and final one-day win over New Zealand that gave it a 4-0 series win. Makhaya Ntini, Shaun Pollock, Charl Langeveldt and Andre Nel are the fast bowlers included in the squad. "India is always a big challenge. No South African team has ever won a one-day series there, but we have the players to do it,'' said Graeme Smith, Captain, South African team. Herschelle Gibbs and Nicky Boje withdrew after they decided last Monday that they might not be safe from arrest on charges of matchfixing. The duo was implicated in a betting scandal centered around former South Africa captain Hansie Cronje, which broke in 2000. Squad: Graeme Smith (captain), AB de Villiers, Jacques Kallis, Ashwell Prince, Justin Kemp, Mark Boucher, Shaun Pollock, Andrew Hall, Charl Langeveldt, Makhaya Ntini, Andre Nel, Albie Morkel, Robin Peterson, Johan Botha, Justin Ontong.
