Zimbabwe players have threatened to boycott the third and final ODI against Pakistan on Saturday protesting their unpaid salaries.

According to a report in IndependentSport, the newly formed players' union, comprising Hamilton Masakadza, skipper Brendan Taylor, Prosper Utseya, Elton Chigumbura and Vusi Sibanda, have stopped preparations until they get paid in full.

The players were promised their outstanding salaries and winning bonuses from the Bangladesh tour by August 28. But the players union informed the Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) managing director Wilfred Mukondiwa that they will not take part in Saturday's series decider if they are not paid by Friday.
