Karachi: Pakistan national team is likely to have a new head coach in place of incumbent Dav Whatmore before its full series against Sri Lanka in the UAE starting next month.

The Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board's interim management committee, Najam Sethi said the PCB was working on releasing the foreign coaches employed with the national team, including head coach Whatmore and fielding coach Julian Fountain.

"The fate of the coaching staff could be decided in the next 10 to 15 days," Sethi told reporters in Abu Dhabi after Pakistan lost the ODI series to South Africa.
