A day after Prithvi Shaw entered the record books for scoring a record 546 off 330 balls in a Harris Shield match for his school Rizvi Springfield, he told NDTV how a piece of advice from Sachin Tendulkar helped him play a long innings. "When I met Sachin he told me to be patient and just play my natural game," said the 14-year-old on Thursday. (A boy who fought the odds)

"I started playing when I was just five, I did not know Sachin was the God of cricket then. As I grew up I knew that he was the God," Prithvi said. Tendulkar has seen Prithvi bat in the nets and his talent has impressed the legend, who retired from cricket on November 16 after playing 200 Test matches. (Why Prithvi is trending)
