Ex-IPL chairman Chirayu Amin loses in Baroda Cricket Association elections

BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel and former Test cricketer Anshuman Gaekwad were elected as secretaries of the association while Amul Jikar was voted as treasurer.

Vadodara: Former Indian Premier League chairman Chirayu Amin lost the presidential election of the Baroda Cricket Association while BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel was re-elected as one of the two secretaries in Vadodara on Tuesday.

Amin lost to Simarjitsinh Gaekwad by a margin of 218 votes after the results of the BCA elections held last Sunday was declared today.

Simarjitsinh Gaekwad defeated Amin by 1066-848 margin.
