Setback for Sri Lanka as Nuwan Kulasekara ruled out of Test series against Pakistan

Skipper Angelo Mathews says there will be no replacement for Nuwan Kulasekara, who is nursing a hamstring injury, as Sri Lanka have enough fast bowlers in the squad.

Abu Dhabi: Sri Lanka suffered a big blow when experienced fast bowler Nuwan Kulasekara was ruled out of the series due to a hamstring injury, skipper Angelo Mathews said on Saturday.

The 31-year-old paceman did not play in the first Test against Pakistan which ended in a draw on the fifth and final day on Saturday.

"Kulasekara suffered a hamstring injury which was discovered recently and will be returning home," said Mathews.
