Pakistan to participate in 2014 Asia Cup

The tournament is set to be played between February 25 and March 8 in Bangladesh.

After a lot of speculation over Pakistan's participation in the upcoming Asia Cup in Bangladesh due to security concern, the Asian Cricket Council confirmed that Pakistan will be part of the tournament, alongside the hosts, India, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka.

According to a report on ESPNcricinfo, the Asian Cricket Council, who announced the schedule for the tournament, said that the tournament still needs security clearances from participating teams.

The tournament is set to begin on February 25 and go on till March 8. The 11 matches will be played at two venues: Mirpur and Fatullah.
