The 2014 Indian Premier League players' auction gave Twitter fans the chance to vote which teams should pick up their favourite players. Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh became the most expensive player in IPL history after he was picked up by the Royal Challengers Bangalore for a whopping Rs 14 crore.

New Zealand cricket star Ross Taylor expressed through his Twitter account that he was extremely happy to get the opportunity to play for the Delhi Daredevils once again. Taylor had gone unsold in the first day of the auction before he was recalled again by teams and eventually bought by the Delhi franchise in Bangalore on Thursday.
