Javed Miandad resigns from his post in Pakistan Cricket Board

Former Test captain Javed Miandad was serving as Director-General in the PCB since 2008.

Karachi: Former Test captain, Javed Miandad has tendered his resignation to the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board.

Miandad who is serving as Director-General cricket in the board since 2008 sent his resignation letter to the new PCB chief, Najam Sethi just four days after the government sacked Zaka Ashraf as Chairman and dissolved the governing body.

The government through a notification also appointed a managing committee to run cricket affairs.
