India's aggresive middle-order batsman Suresh Raina, who was left out of the national side for the Asia Cup, is raring to go in the upcoming World Twenty20. With some valuable inputs from former skipper Sourav Ganguly, Raina is looking forward to a fresh start in the marquee tournament. The qualifiers start on March 16 and India start against Pakistan on March 21.
In an interview with the Times of India, the left-handed Raina spoke about the words of wisdom he received from Ganguly and how it has motivated him to put his past performances behind himself.
"Ganguly just gave me confidence and told me to work on my strength. He reminded me how well I had done in ODIs before and told me to play the same aggressive game that made me successful. It does feel good when such a great player has so many good things to say about your game," Raina said.
