Former Australia all-rounder Tom Moody on Tuesday signed on as Director of Cricket at the Melbourne Renegades for the Aussie version of the Indian Premier League - the Big Bash. Moody, 48, will be responsible for list management, talent identification and recruitment.
The experienced mentor already has close ties to the Renegades through head coach Simon Helmot, who was delighted with the appointment. "I've admired Tom's coaching and man-management from afar for many years," Helmot said. (Also read: Can IPL 2014 rise above scams?)
