Another superb show of batting by Glenn Maxwell and David Miller gave Kings XI Punjab a thrilling seven-wicket victory over Rajasthan Royals in a big run chase in the Indian Premier League (IPL) at Sharjah on Sunday. Chasing 192 for a win, Maxwell (89 off 45) and Miller (19-ball 51 not out) guided Kings XI to a victory with eight balls to spare.

David Miller recorded his 17th fifty in T20s - his 18th innings of fifty or more in Twenty20. His 19-ball fifty is the quickest by a Kings XI player in Twenty20s. The record for fastest fifty in IPL is held by Adam Gilchrist, off just 17 balls against Delhi Daredevils in 2009 edition. Gilchrist played for disbanded Deccan Chargers in 2009.
