Mumbai Indians extended their winning streak at the Wankhede Stadium to a record ten games after beating Royal Challengers Bangalore by 19 runs on Tuesday. This is a record for most consecutive wins by a team at a single venue. In a game that will be known for its heated on-field spat between Kieron Pollard and Mitchell Starc, an all-round Mumbai Indians performance raised hopes of a revival of fortunes for them in this year's Indian Premier League. The team which has the likes of Sachin Tendulkar and Ricky Ponting as mentors, had surprisingly lost its first five games during the UAE leg before returning to win two at their home ground in Mumbai.
