Indian vice-captain Rahul Dravid finished second on the PricewaterhouseCoopers ratings released today, one spot behind West Indies batsman Brian Lara. Lara notched the top slot after his superlative innings of 400 against England recently. While the stylish left-hander finished with 897 points, Dravid ended up with 892 points thanks to his match-winning 270 in the Rawalpindi Test against Pakistan. Virender Sehwag, who became the first Indian to score a triple century when he made 309 in Multan, was placed 9th on the chart, one spot behind teammate Sachin Tendulkar. Sri Lankan spin wizard Muttiah Muralitharan topped the bowling charts followed by South Africa's Shaun Pollock and Shoaib Akhtar of Pakistan. (PTI)Topics mentioned in this article
