On Saturday night, former champions Chennai Super Kings ended Mumbai Indians' 10-match unbeaten streak at the Wankhede Stadium. Chennai's last-over victory meant defending champions Mumbai lost their first match of the Indian leg of this year's Indian Premier League

Chennai Super Kings have won eight and lost nine out of 17 contested vs Mumbai Indians. Overall, Chennai have won seven and lost two out of nine contested in IPL 2014. Mumbai, who had lost all their five matches in the first leg at United Arab Emirates, have won two and lost six out of eight played in this season's IPL.

Wankhede had always been Mumbai's happy hunting ground. They scored 10 consecutive wins between April 9, 2013 and May 6, 2014. But Saturday saw the end of a dream run in spite of Mumbai lad Ambati Rayudu's 59 off 43 balls. It was Rayudu's first fifty in IPL 2014 and ninth overall in the league.
