Just hours after Lalit Modi was announced as the RCA president in May 2014, the BCCI suspended the board indefinitely and appointed an ad-hoc body to run its cricket affairs.

The tug-of-war between the Board of Control for Cricket in India and the former IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi continued as the BCCI is set to appoint a five-member committee to run the Rajasthan Cricket Association.

The committee will oversee all cricket activities in associations like Bihar and Rajasthan where there are ongoing disputes.

According a report in ESPNCricinfo, BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel confirmed that the interim president of the board, Shivlal Yadav has appointed the committee in order to provide the best of cricketing facilities in disputed areas.
