Kolkata:
The Cricket Board today approved the restructured Graded Payment System proposed by the players but rejected their request to increase the non-player's match fee by 20 percent. "As proposed by the players, the new Grades will be Rs. 50, 35 and 20 lakhs for the players who will be graded in three categories under the new contracts system," BCCI President Jagmohan Dalmiya said after a meeting of the Working Committee here. Dalmiya, however, said that the Board turned down the players' request to raise the match fee of the non-playing members of the team from 50 percent to 70 percent of that money payable to the playing members. "The non-playing members will get 50 percent of the match fee," Dalmiya said. (PTI)Topics mentioned in this article
