Jaipur: The "working president" of the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) and Vasundhara Raje loyalist Amin Pathan on Sunday said that he would seek recognition from BCCI having "ousted" Lalit Modi with the help of 23 out of the 33 district unit of the state body. It was a day of confusion as both Lalit Modi group and Pathan group made their pleas to the police who later in the evening allowed the latter to enter the RCA office situated in the North Block of the Sawai Man Singh Stadium.
"We have support of 23 out of 33 units and a few more districts are likely to join us. We told the authorities that we have the majority and we can prove it physically. We have also apprised BCCI about the new developments and they have asked us to present the documents. They have assured us that if the documents are legally correct, then there would be no difficulty I reinstating RCA," Pathan told PTI. (Modi Hits Back After RCA Removes Him as President)
