West Indies Cricket Board in Crisis Meeting After BCCI Action

The Board of Control for Cricket in India has decided to call of India's tour to West Indies next year. This in response to Caribbean players taking an early flight home due to a payment row with their board.

While West Indies Cricket Board president Dave Cameron faces pressure from players, executive members of WICB too are reportedly gearing up to grill him.

Bridgetown: West Indies Cricket Board president Dave Cameron is reportedly facing a grilling from other executive members at an emergency meeting of the WICB following the abandonment last week of the tour of India.

An informed source from within the meeting in Barbados has confirmed that the early focus of the gathering has been on Cameron's handling of the entire situation.

More specifically, this was on his decision to take a hands-off position when the captain of the One-Day International team, Dwayne Bravo, last week requested intervention by the WICB boss in the midst of a rift between the players on tour and president of the West Indies Players Association, Wavell Hinds.
