Jaipur: Aditya Garhwal might have created ripples in the cricketing circles with his recent exploits with the bat but the lanky lad from the desert town of Sikar does not want to be carried away with his feats.
He accumulated 763 runs from five innings in the Vinoo Mankad (under-19) one-day championship for Central Zone to catch attention.
"I feel it is too early. There have been only a few innings and people have started calling me names and have started me comparing to likes of Virendra Sehwag. I not even a finger tip of the greats like Veeru who have tremendous records in national as well as international cricket. I feel embarrassed and would like to be grounded and not carried away with this," Aditya told PTI when informed that he was being called 'Chota Veeru' because of his hitting capabilities.
