New Zealand great Martin Crowe has refused to undergo chemotherapy to cure the return of cancer, according to a report in In September, Crowe revealed he had a cancer relapse, 15 months after announcing it was under control.

Crowe is believed to have told his friends and family he had rejected chemotherapy after saying he will now have to undergo further treatment.

"You never beat lymphoma, but I was hopeful that after the first episode I might be clear for a few years; I felt very well," Crowe had written in September.
